ArcSoft Shines at 2025 Qualcomm Automotive Tech Summit: Launching Visual-AI Across Cabin & Driving
At the 2025 Qualcomm Automotive Technology & Cooperation Summit in Suzhou, ArcSoft showcased its full-stack visual-AI solutions on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon automotive platforms. The highlight? An integrated capability across intelligent cabin sensing, seamless parking assistance, and advanced driving support.

Cabin–Parking Integrated Perception Powered by Qualcomm Smart Cabin Platforms
ArcSoft has successfully achieved large-scale deployment on Qualcomm’s leading smart cabin platforms (such as SA8155P and SA8295P), delivering high-precision driver and occupant monitoring (DMS and OMS). The system accurately detects key behaviors — such as fatigue, distraction, yawning, and gaze deviation — as well as seat occupancy, passenger posture, and attention levels. It remains highly reliable even under challenging conditions including low light, glare, and partial occlusion, fully meeting Euro NCAP 2025 and GSR II safety requirements. These capabilities help OEMs enhance in-cabin safety, comfort, and regulatory compliance.
Building on the cabin platform’s compute headroom, high-bandwidth camera channels, and synchronized multi-camera support, ArcSoft has further extended its capabilities to include parking assistance. By integrating AVM (Around View Monitoring) and APA (Automatic Parking Assist), the solution supports a wide range of parking scenarios — including vertical, parallel, angled, and mechanical parking — offering accurate space detection and dynamic path planning.
This Cabin–Parking unified architecture addresses growing OEM demand for cross-domain perception and enables a more seamless user experience with minimal platform changes. It also lays the technical foundation for future convergence with driving assistance systems — paving the way for cost-efficient, scalable evolution toward cabin-driving fusion architectures.
End-to-End Assist: Full-Scope Driving & Parking Capabilities
Targeting both highway and urban driving, ArcSoft tapped Qualcomm’s mid/high-end Compute platforms (Snapdragon Ride SA8620P/SA8650P and Fusion platform SA8775P) to build a 7/11 camera architecture with real-time, always-on perception.
- Active Safety: Equipped with AEB (emergency braking) and AES (emergency steering).
- Highway Driving: Includes HWA (Highway Assist), smart navigation-guided lane changes, overtaking, and ramp merging/exiting.
- Urban Driving: Handles full-speed ACC+ISA, LCC, traffic-light stop-and-go, steering-assisted lane changes, and even urban memory driving.
- Smart Parking: Offers APA, RPA (remote parking), multi-level HPA, and custom spot parking.
- Safety Strategies: Integrates with DMS to disable advanced assistance if fatigue or distraction is detected.
Through low-latency multi-camera processing and precise semantic mapping, plus efficient Snapdragon Ride heterogeneous compute scheduling, ArcSoft delivers a scalable, low-power, high-performance solution. Validated on multiple OEM platforms, it’s ready for mass deployment and future feature improvements.
ArcSoft × Qualcomm: A “Chip–Vision” Collaboration
Visual-AI has emerged as a core pillar in smart automotive systems, but engineering high-performance perception in vehicles demands deep synergy between algorithm and compute platform. With over 20 years of collaboration — spanning from mobile imaging to vehicle-grade perception — ArcSoft and Qualcomm have co-optimized algorithms across CPU, GPU, DSP, and NPU to deliver production-ready visual perception featuring low power, high frame rate, and strong robustness.
ArcSoft’s current solutions are deployed in numerous production vehicles across China, Europe, and beyond. Preparing for next-gen centralized architectures, ArcSoft is collaborating on Snapdragon Ride Flex (SA8775P) and is closely tracking future platforms like Snapdragon Cockpit Elite (SA8397) and Ride Elite (SA8797), prepping for multi-modal fusion, central perception, and large-model inference.
Looking ahead, as the industry embraces centralized compute and AI-powered systems, ArcSoft will continue to lead in visual-AI algorithms, software platforms, and real-world deployment — partnering with Qualcomm and automakers to build a smarter, safer, more reliable visual-ai hub in every vehicle.
